Rabbit Paradise~ Dedicated to my Beloved Rumor

Done in late July 2019. Done in acrylic and oil paints on 9 x 12 canvas and scanned.
This is a painting inspired by my late rabbit Rumor, who passed away on September 25, 2017. She was a multicolored rabbit who had various shades of brown and gray, and loved how I patted her head as well as massage her. As for the background, I chose an environment with lots of plants and trees and open air. Therefore, painting these rabbits outside near weeping willows,in a field of flowers was an ideal subject to paint. Finally, I'd like to believe that this is where Rumor is, up in rabbit heaven, with a cool breeze and lots of grass to chew on.
